Larry Reece

Larry Lee Reece, 69 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma passed away on January 12, 2021 at Integris Grove Hospital.

Larry was born on June 23, 1951 in Southwest City, Missouri.  He was the son of Sherman and Zenoma (Miller) Reece.  Larry was united in marriage to Teresa Burton on November 16, 1973.  Larry enjoyed working with his cattle and donkey’s, taking little road trips, was always ready for a good visit, going for walks with his friend Adam, and drinking sweet tea.  Larry retired from  Delaware County district #1 as a road crewman.

Larry was preceded in by his parents, a daughter Michelle Johnson, six siblings: Bob Reece, J.D. Reece, Ted Reece, Calvin Reece, Sharon Reed and Charlene Reece.  He is survived by his wife Teresa of the home, his sons: Ricky Reece and wife Mallory and Aaron Reece and wife Tonja, nine grandchildren: Dakota Johnson, Michael Johnson, Dallas Johnson, Brittany Reece, Abbigail Reece, Emerie Pennington, Kaylen Pennington, Remington Reece and Weston Reece.  Larry is also survived by four siblings: Logan Reece, Bill Reece, Amos Reece and wife Donna and Betty Reece-Meadows.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1PM – 3PM, on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Oak Chapel Church in Jay, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
