Kyle Helmecy

Kyle David Helmecy, age 22, Grove, Ok. passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020.

He was born on August 26, 1997 in Roseville, California to David A. Helmecy and Amanda Spring Dunlap Helmecy.

Kyle later moved to Kirwin, Kansas after graduating high School, he was hired as the youngest prison guard in the history of Norton Correctional Facility. Currently he was working as an correction officer for the Delaware County Sheriff Office.

He is survived by his father, David Helmecy, Sacramento, CA; mother, Amanda Jensen and husband, John, Kirwin, KS; twelve brothers and sisters; girlfriend, Kali Asher, Afton, Ok; many aunt, uncles and cousins.

Pastor Sam Smith will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 in the Worley- Luginbuel Chapel, Grove. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
