Kenneth Hines

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261 Kenneth Joe Hines, 87-year-old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2018 at Integris Grove Hospital. Kenneth was born on September 17, 1930 in Mountain View, Oklahoma. He was one of four children born to O.V "Jack" and Ida (Newman) Hines. Kenneth was united in marriage to the love of his life, Norma Hicks in 1957 . After retiring from Fred-Jones Motor Company, Kenneth and his loving bride relocated to Grove, Oklahoma in 2003. Kenneth was very active, he enjoyed building furniture and was always working on a project. He was an avid NASCAR and Sprint Car racing fan. Kenneth was always ready to visit his favorite places in Colorado. Kenneth and Norma attended Grove First United Methodist Church where he was known as the "Best Hugger" at the Lifeline Service. Kenneth was a perfect gentleman, loving husband, wonderful father and adoring grandfather. He blessed everyone with his warm, childish grin, loving heart and laughter. Kenneth will be reunited in Heaven by his parents, two sisters; Deanne Hulett and Katherine Dinkins and his brother Donnie Hines. He leaves behind his wife Norma Hines of the home, his son Ken Hines and wife Lori of Grove, Oklahoma and his daughter Gina Moore and husband Robert of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kenneth was blessed with four grandchildren; Justin Moore of OKC, OK, Kendra Shepard and husband Josh of OKC, OK, Kristen Cross and husband Bryan of Jenks, OK, Lauren Hines of Glenpool, Oklahoma, three great grandchildren; Serenity Shepard, Keegan and Brooks Cross.
