Kenneth Bohannan

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, 918 - 256 -55555……. Kenneth Dale Bohannan passed away October 22, 2017 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri surrounded by his family. He was born September 23, 1939 to Clyde F. and Ruby Irene (Long) Bohannan in Afton, Oklahoma and was raised and graduated from Afton High School. Kenneth served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1960. Kenneth returned home and married Ethel Wood on June 22, 1963; they had fifty four wonderful years together. He was a member and past master of Vinita Masonic Lodge # 5 AM; he was also a member of Tulsa Valley Scottish Rite. Kenny was a member of Akdar Shrine Rascals riding group participating in many parades. He was also a deacon of Dupree Baptist Church of Vinita. Kenneth worked many years and retired from the propane industry in 2001. He was preceded by his parents and two brother, Jerry and Max Bohannan. Kenneth is survived by his wife Ethel Bohannan of the home Vinita; two sons Shawn and wife Arlene of Vinita; Gene and wife Jo Ann of Kellyville; one sister Joy and husband Steve Ray of Miami Florida; one brother Lynn Bohannan of Tulsa. A special cousin Larry Bohannan of Afton; two granddaughters Candice Wood and Sheyian Bohannan; four grandsons Tim, Kenneth, Kodee and Austin Bohannan. He had three great-grandchildren Bella, Dalyn and Kayleigh; two special sister in laws Jean Hayes and Darlene Avery. Kenneth's family will have a visitation on Tuesday October 24, 2017 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel, Vinita. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Reverend Steve Ray officiating. The family will have a private committal service at Mt.
