Kathryn Sosa-Athey

Kathryn Estella (Dick) Sosa-Athey, Monkey Island resident, died Friday December 17, 2010 at the age of 54 years. She was born on April 1, 1956 to Kenneth Dick and Samuella (Pierce) Dick in Stella, Missouri. Kathy worked as an X-ray technician. She was affectionately known as "Big Kat" and "Meemaw". She loved to read and play PlayStation video games. Kathy had a big heart and was always willing to help someone. Her parents preceded her in death. Kathy is survived by sons, David Zane Spicer and Derek Edward Riggs; daughter, Stacey Lea Spicer; brother, Kenny Dick; eight grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Services were held 2:00 PM Wednesday December 22, 2010 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Interment followed at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
