Kathleen Meyer

Kathleen P. Meyer, a resident of Massapequa Park, New York, passed away suddenly on March 20, 2007. Kathy grew up in Massapequa, graduated from Massapequa High School and received her B.A. degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. She was devoted to her family, friends and insured's, from being a State Farm Insurance agent. She has a great compassion for her fellow man. She loved animals, reading, gardening. Kathleen and her bright quick wit and smile will always be remembered. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil P. Conway, and Mr. and Mrs. Malvin Meyer, her father, State Farm Agent Henry A. Meyer and baby daughter Kathleen, preceded Kathleen in death. She survived by her mother, Patricia M. Meyer; a sister Eileen Neer and her husband Dr. Charles Neer II; and special nephew Charles H Neer all of Vinita, Oklahoma Funeral services for Mrs. Meyer will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church in Vinita with Reverend Robert E. Johns. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The family will receive friends at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 for visitation. The family has ask that memorial contributions be made to the Children's Community Reading Program, First United Methodist Church, 314 West Canadian Ave., Vinita, OK 74301. A bookplate in memory of Kathleen will mark each book.
