Judy Carlisle

Judy Kay (Reddick) Carlisle, wife of Don Carlisle went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday October 3, 2009 at her home in Bartlesville, Ok. A true gift in our lives, she had so much love to give and life to live and left us too soon. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. There will be a private family service. Judy K. was born September 9, 1945 in Beatrice Nebraska to Jack and Ruby Mae (Sichley) Reddick. She was raised and educated in San Bernardino, Ca. She met the love of her life Don Carlisle and they were married in 1973. They lived in San Bernardino and Riverside CA. They relocated in Bartlesville, Ok. earlier this year. She was a member of the PHC Church and former church secretary. She was a cosmetology instructor and teacher for 16 years then a school bus driver. Health issues caused her to stop working 10 years ago. Though small of size Judy K. had a heart and personality as big as all outdoors, she was a very caring, kind hearted and generous woman. She never met a stranger and had a kind word for anyone she met. She was totally devoted to her husband, family, friends and her dogs, Halli and Samson. She loved to travel, meeting new friends and to marvel at all the things the Lord had created. She enjoyed gardening and was an accomplished artist in painting, sculpting, sewing and knitting. For the last 4 years she was a licensed silver clay instructor, designing and making custom jewelry. Judy K. is lovingly survived by her husband Don of Bartlesville, Ok. son Tom of Bartlesville, Ok. daughter Tammy of Riverside, Ca. brother Don Sichley of Ridgecrest, Ca. grandsons Thomas, Seth, Hunter, and Tristan. Brother and sister in laws, Bernie and Susan Carlisle of Oklahoma City, Ok. Kenneth and Shirley Gregg of Palm Desert, Ca. and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. Judy K. was proceeded in death by her parents Jack and Ruby Reddick, brothers Chodd and Jack.
