Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555........ Johnny Ray Ramsey, 70 year old Chelsea resident, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016. John was born in Vinita on February 22, 1946 to Earl and Opal (Griffith) Ramsey. He was a great outdoorsman and loved trapping, fishing, and hunting, especially pheasant. He was a carpenter by trade and working alongside his brother they helped build Craig County Baptist Church building. Survivors include his wife Linda of the home, children: Tandi Ramsey of White Oak, Johnny Ray Ramsey, Jr. and wife Andrea Knotwell of Denver, CO, Brandi Rae Nichols and husband Jason of Waggoner, OK, and Ethan Jacob Ray Ramsey of Chelsea, OK, the mother of his children Terry Ramsey, grandchildren: Brad Ramsey, Kacey Rae Ramsey, Morgan Nichols, and Abby Nichols, great grandchildren Sadie Rae Smith, Kainie Rae Smith, and Dillan Ramsey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Billy George Ramsey, Sam Ramsey, and Barbara Aragon. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Craig County Baptist Church with Rev. George Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
