Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, 918-256-5555……..A graveside service honoring and remembering the life of John Terrill Tibbs will be held 10 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Chelsea cemetery. John passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at St. Francis hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family. He was 51 years of age. Born on November 26, 1966 he was the son of George and Sherry (brown) Tibbs. He attended Chelsea High School where he excelled in football and running track John was a big Oklahoma Sooners fan and enjoyed anything and everything pertaining to sports. He pursued a successful career in computer networking and became a Senior Computer Analyst. John was a very kind man that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. John was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving family members include his brother, Carl Tibbs and his wife, Kimberly of Mayer MN; his nephews, Matthew Tibbs and his fiancée Amanda Beaulieu of Waverly, MN, and Derek Tibbs of Mayer, MN; his niece Tiffany Tibbs of Mayer, MN; his great niece Londyn Tibbs. His cousin and dear friend, Robert Morris and wife Denise of Tulsa; A special aunt, Joyce Bickell of Claremore; and a host of extended family and friends that loved him dearly.
