Joe Carlile

Joe Don Carlile, Grove resident, died Thursday March 3, 2011 at Grove Integris Hospital at the age of 68 years. He was born on December 13, 1942 in Williams, Oklahoma to his parents, Garland Leslie Carlile and Vida Deefor. He served his country in the US Navy and then entered law enforcement where he worked in many different communities during his career. He retired from the Tulsa Police Department where he worked as a Police officer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Garland Carlile, Vida Deefor, step-father, Theodore Scarberry; and brothers, James and Earl Carlile. He is survived by his wife Kathy; son, Gordon Wayne Carlile; daughter Donna Kay Bean and husband Mike; brothers, Roy Carlile and wife Linda, Burl Carlile and wife Dot, Troy Carlile and wife Vickie, Carl Scarberry, Jerry Scarberry; sister, Mary French; grandchildren Ashley and Landon; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday March 8, 2011 at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
