Joan Nale

Joan Nale,73 year old Jay, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday July 10, 2011 following an extended illness. Joan was born on March 28, 1938 in Neosho, Missouri to Lark and Wilma (Burney Cooper. Joan raised cattle most of her life, but was also a nurse for many years. Joan was active in the rodeo in her younger years, barrel racing with a horse named Bill, however after bills death, her passion of the sport declined. Joan is survived by her daughter Martha Rose, of Pryor, Oklahoma, sister Burney Moss, three granddaughters, three grandsons, 2 nephews, 2 great nephews and a host of extended family.
