Jimmy Davis

Jimmy Don Davis, age 69, died January 9, 2008 at his residence in Grove, Oklahoma. Jimmy was born August 25, 1938 to Gene and Thelma (Kennedy) Davis in Joplin, Missouri. He was a very prominent member of the community and will be missed dearly. Jim lived most of his life in Joplin, Missouri. He retired from the Missouri American Water company. Jim was employed as a Security Guard for the Wayndotte Casino. Survivors include his two daughters, Cheryl R. Ferguson of Columbus, Ohio, and Michelle L. Wilson of Joplin, Missouri, also five grandchildren, Jerrerd Ferguson, Roland Ferguson, Amber Feguson all of Columbus, Ohio and Terah Duley and Tate Duley both of Joplin, Missouri. No services have been planned. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
