Jimmie Lewis Johnson, 74 year-old Ketchum resident, died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Craig General Hospital. He was born September 25, 1932 in Eucha, Oklahoma to James and Ollie Johnson. He was married to his wife Era Lerlene (Shine) on June 12, 1961 in Miami, OK. Jimmie was a Carpenter; he grew up in the Kenwood-Eucha area and lived in the Ketchum area for the past fifty-five years. He was a founding member of the Open Door Community Church. Preceding him in death are his parents James and Ollie Johnson a sister Lorene Johnson and other family members. The survivors include his wife Era Lerlene Johnson of the home, his children include his sons Jimmie Lewis Johnson Jr. and his wife Carol Ann, Johnny Joe Johnson and his wife Kelly, Jeffery Harron and his wife Amy Michelle, Justin Terry and his wife Traci, his daughter Janie Lerlene Loffer and her husband Jason, grandchildren Cassie, Teri, Kevin, Mandi, Holli, Anthony, Ginger, Courtney, Shiloh, Taylor and Paige, one great-grandchild Brandon Lewis, his brothers Elmer Johnson, Alex (Sonny) Johnson, Manuel Johnson, Rutus Johnson, John Stanley Johnson, and a sister Betty Johnson. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Open Door Community Church in Ketchum with Bro Tommy Spurgeon officiating. Interment will follow in the Ketchum Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. Casketbearers will be James Hinkle, Hank Hinkle, Randy Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Charley Johnson, Phylets Johnson. Honorary Casketbearers will be Brad Johnson and Alex Johnson.
