Jerry Goins

Jay, Ok - Jerry Don Goins, 60, died Sunday May 31, 2009 at Regency Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on September 25, 1948 in Jay, Oklahoma to Albert Z. and Talitha (Newman) Goins. He was a graduate of Jay High School. Jerry was married to Carolyn Elliott and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by Pine Island Resort. Jerry enjoyed fishing, making crappie jigs, reading and country music. He was most proud of his two sons. Survivors include his wife Carolyn of Jay; two sons, Christopher Lee Goins and fiancé, April Rowe and William Doc Goins all of Jay: his father Albert Z. Goins of Jay. He was preceded in death by his mother, Talitha Goins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
