Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. 918-256-5555. Jefferson Faye "Jeff" Davis, 84 year old Vinita resident, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016. Jeff was born in Bristow, OK on February 6, 1932 to Lee and Hazel Davis. He was a hard worker; working at the Boatright's Department Store in Vinita as a young man, managed Buffalo Ranch Western Store in Afton, owned and operated Davis Western Wear, traveled and sold a western line of clothing wholesale, and retired from KAMO electric. He was also active in his community coaching Little League Baseball, was a past member of the Afton Public School Board, and helped with 4-H and FFA livestock shows. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed working outdoors, planting trees, hunting, fishing, and gardening. When he wasn't doing any of those things he enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include his children: Randy Jeff Davis and wife Carla of Grand Point, Terry Davis of Miami, Pam Wolfe and husband Richard of Vinita, and Brent Davis and wife Kim of Fairland, the mother of his children Lora Lee Parker of Vinita, one sister, Mary Sanders and husband Bill of Bluejacket, 7 grandchildren: Dr. Cole Davis and wife LoRae, Cody Wolfe, Casey Davis and wife Ashley, Kenny Davis and wife Megan, Samantha Davis, Lacy Elliott, and Alex Osborn, as well as 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Dewey Davis, Bob Davis, Barney Davis, Dexter Davis, Ethel Copeland, Freida Davis, Betty Davis, and Geneva Davis. Memorial services will be 6 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastors Chuck and Gina Jackson officiating. Preferred memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
