Jami Bickhard

Jami departed this world March 18, 2011. She was born March 25, 1965. Survivors: Parents Jack and Ruby Bickhard of Jay, Oklahoma; siblings, Mark H. Bickhard, Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, Tena T. Roskam, Wichita, Kansas, Conn D. Bickhard, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Matt D. Bickhard, Derby, Kansas, Allison Ebberts, Shawnee, Kansas; nieces, Emily B. Roskam, Portland, Oregon, Kari Bickhard and Hannah Bickhard, Wichita Falls, Texas, Lianna Bickhard, Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, Mati Bickhard, Derby, Kansas, Kennedy Ebberts; nephews, Austen B. Roskam, Wichita, Kansas, Kyle Bickhard and Jack Bickhard, Wichita Falls, Texas, Jake Bickhard, Derby, Kansas; great-nephews Nicholas and Jonathan Roskam, Wichita, Kansas. Jami graduated from Andover High School in 1983 and had a BS in Business Management from Friends University. She worked for over a decade at Boeing Wichita as a material processor and expeditor; she temporarily moved to assist at the Louisiana Boeing Plant to correct a $10 million discrepancy in inventory. Jami developed and managed her own landscape business for homeowners in the Wichita area. She loved her pets and always found homes for strays, wherever she lived, if she couldn't adopt them herself. She enjoyed sports as a spectator and a participant. Nature and its inhabitants were an important part of her life. She will be greatly missed for her compassion and love for all God's creatures. Memorial services will be announced at a later time. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Antwerp, Ohio. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. The family has ask that memorial contributions be made to your local Humane Society or Good Shepherd Hospice in Grove, Oklahoma in Care of the Funeral Home.
