Jacob Koontz

Jacob "Jake" Bradford Koontz, age 23 of Vinita, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Jake was born in Grove on July 6, 1987 the son of Jack Koontz and Marilyn Turnbough. He enjoyed spending time with his children, friends, and other family members. He also enjoyed camping, doing carpentry work, and collecting movies and knives. Survivors include his mother Marilyn Turnbough, father Jack Koontz, step father Corbutt Barcroft, grandfather, Conley Turnbough children: Jade-Lynn Koontz, Shaelynn Koontz, Joshua Watkins, Adriane Kannmore, Kayden Martin, siblings: Michael Koontz, Ashley Barcroft, and Kristine Barcroft, aunt Kayleen Harrison and husband Todd, special uncles, Owen Ratcliff, Jess Conway, Donnie Turnbough and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Alice Turnbough, sister Felicia Barcroft, and aunts Julie Cook and Janet Hayes. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Justin Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
