Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson, passed away at the Integris Grove General hospital in Grove, OK, on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the age of 63. Jack was born February 5, 1949 in Noel, MO, the son of the late Frank Johnson and Blanche (Rowe) Johnson. Jack attended Noel Schools. Jack served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Jack married Becky Buzzard on July 21, 1982 in Miami, OK. Becky passed away on September 21, 2000 from an auto accident. Jack later lived in the Jay, OK area for a number of years. He enjoyed his kids, grandkids, family, swimming, throwing horse shoes, hauling hay, caring for horses and sports. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife; and parents. He is survived by his daughter Crystal Lynn Johnson; son Billy Jack Johnson; three grandchildren: Koda, Triton, and Keilei Johnson; three brothers: Wayne Johnson of Noel, MO, Joe Johnson of Noel, MO, and Danny Johnson of Southwest City, MO; seven sisters: Wanda Long of Columbus, OH, Darlene Coyan of Broken Arrow, OK, Dorothy Spencer of Anderson, MO, Joy Evans of Goodman, MO, Janice Moss of Noel, MO, Sandy Burke of Neosho, MO, and Debbie Morrison of Republic, MO; and many other family members and friends to numerous to mention. The funeral service will be held at the Round Springs Baptist Church on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10AM with Junior Loftis and John Summerfield, presiding. The burial will follow at the Round Springs Cemetery in Eucha, OK. The family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK. Friends and family may leave notes of encouragement by viewing Jack's Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com. Casket bearers will be Billy Johnson, Danny Johnson, BJ Buzzard, Bryan Buzzard, Derrick Buzzard, and Steven Swink. Honorary casket bearers will be Joe Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Jim Burke, Justin Buzzard, Willie Roberts, and John Spencer.
