Iva Holcomb

Iva Lee Holcomb, age 81, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013. Iva was born in Tulsa on August 19, 1931. In 1949 she graduated from Central High School in Tulsa. She was united in marriage to Jack Holcomb on May 15, 1953 in Sapulpa. Iva had a winning smile and a wonderful attitude. She enjoyed cooking, playing Yahtzee, camping, fishing, and being an active member of the Craig County Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Jack of the home, son David Holcomb and wife Sharon of Skiatook, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Gizmo. She is preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Hayman, son, Charles "Chuck" Holcomb, and 4 brothers. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Craig County Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
