Ireeta Malone

Ireeta Lou Malone passed away October 2, 2010 at Freeman Hospital, Mo., with her family at her side. She was born in Newton, KS, on October 22, 1938, and as a young child moved to Redondo Beach, CA. She graduated from Mira Costa High School in Southern California. In 1955 she married her only sweet heart and together they raised their three children in Lawndale, CA. where she worked as a secretary for Sweets Auto Parts. Later, she was an integral part of her son's company, Malone's CNC Machining, in Upland, CA. In 1992, she and her husband moved to Wyandotte, OK, when her son's company moved to Grove, OK. For over 23 years she was the company's accountant and government contract administrator. Ireeta was a loving, sincere, and compassionate person who enjoyed family, children and life in general. She was a second mother and grand mother to many. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clifford Eugene Malone. They had three children: Judith Gay Proctor, Donald Eugene Malone and Gary Patrick Malone. She was further blessed with seven grand children and three great grand children. Ireeta was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Velma. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, 711 South Main Street, Grove, OK. Flowers can be sent in care of the funeral home. The interment will be in the Council House Cemetery.
