Herbert Sweeten

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Herbert Wayne Sweeten, 60 year old Grove resident, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018. He was born in Picher, OK on January 28, 1958 to Robert Sweeten, Sr. and Eulah Fay (Moore) Sweeten. Wayne worked as the store manager of True Value for several years. He had made many friends and built many relationships while there. In fact, some people would only allow Wayne to help them. Wayne was also very involved in AA and the House of Hope. He was clean and sober for 13 years and enjoyed sponsoring and helping others. He also enjoyed playing pool. Wayne is survived by his mother Faye Buzzard of Grove, brothers: Dr. Robert Sweeten, Jr. and wife Rene' of Neosho, MO and Larry Sweeten of Grove, OK, one sister Lisa Agre and husband Brian of Stamford, CT, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Sweeten, Sr.
