Hazel King

Hazel M. King 88 year-old long time Cleora resident, died late Friday evening, August 18, 2006 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born November 20, 1917 to Alonzo "Lonnie" and Mary Lucinda (Sears) Jackson. Hazel worked for City Service Oil Company and Wal-Mart. She was married to James Colvin, who preceded her in death in 1948, She was married a second time to Paul King who also preceded her in death in 1977. Hazel was a member of the First Christian Church of Afton. The family includes: her children, Beverly Bullard and husband Louis of Cleora, Mary Beth Schwartzlander of Adair, James Colvin and wife Reva of Lilburn, Georgia, Danny Mark King of Catoosa, eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her two husbands, parents, twelve brothers and sisters, a grandson, Timothy Bullard, a son Belmar Jay Colvin, and a son in-law Michael Schwartzlander in March of 2005. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the Luginbuel Chapel. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cleora Methodist Church, with Pastors Bill Lee and Rich Brashear officiating. Interment will follow at the McLaughlin Cemetery near Cleora. Casket Bearers will be; Jim Bullard, Michael Schwartzlander, James Colvin III, John Paul King, Tyler Bullard, and Gus Jones. Honorary bearers will be; Junior Warren, Greg Epperson, Paul Speer, Dennis Jones, Dustin Jones, Jake Bullard and Scott, Kosciolek. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
