September 23, 1914 — September 28, 2012

Harry "Jake" Gingerich was born September 23, 1914 in Norfork, Arkansas, to Jacob and Molly (Burton) Gingerich. He passed from this life September 28, 2012, at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. He was 98 years old. Jake was educated in Norfork, Arkansas and moved to the Nowata area in 1930 when he was 16 years old. He was a friend to all and will be missed by all who ever met him. Preceding Mr. Gingerich in death are his parents Jacob and Molly Gingerich, three brothers, and one sister, a son Phillip R. Gingerich, a daughter, Susie Earlene Hunt, and a grandson James Bradley Gingerich. Surviving Mr. Gingerich are his loving wife Mary, a son, Leo L.
