Gretchen Butts-Inman

Gretchen Alyce Butts-Inman, 85, resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on February 25, 2012 at Bartlesville Care Center. She was born January 16, 1927 in Nowata, Oklahoma to George H. and Mollie J. (Schaeffer) Seabolt. Gretchen married Gayle Butts on December 24, 1950 and together they were blessed with two daughters. He preceded her in death in November of 1983. She later married John Inman on February 14, 1992. He also preceded her in death. She was very active in volunteering for the Bartlesville Symphony, OK Mozart Girl Scouts and Y-Teens. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. Gretchen is survived by her two daughters, Susan Board and her husband, Mike, of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Julie Woodard and her husband, Gene, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sister, Gerry Boatright of Salina, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gayle Butts and John Inman and infant son, David Andrew. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
