Grace Hogan

Grace Pearl Hogan, 99 year old Grove, Oklahoma resident, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2011. Grace was born on October 28, 1921 in Polk County, Tennessee to James and Minnie (Evans) Richardson. She graduated from high school in Norman, Oklahoma in 1930. Grace married E.A. "Turk" Hogan in Okemah, Oklahoma on February 23, 1934. Grace was an avid Sooner football fan and enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren at their cabin on Lake Eucha, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles and most of all spending time with her friends and family. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, E.A. "Turk", three brothers, Roland Butler, John Butler, and Jessie Tallon, and one grandson, Tim Hogan. Grace is survived by four children, Cheno Kennedy of Grove, Oklahoma, Nancy Dykes of Jay, Oklahoma, Andy Hogan of Claremore, Oklahoma, and John "Moe" Hogan of Owasso, Oklahoma, six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members. Private family services for Grace will be held at a later date.
