Goldie Geraldine Taylor, 95-year-old Bluejacket resident, was surrounded by family when she went to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday November 12, 2020 at the Oklahoma Surgical Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on December 25th, 1924 in Centralia, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Earl Beehler and Tinnie (Stanley) Beehler.
Geraldine married the love of her life, Wayne Taylor, September 8th, 1942 on Timber Hill. They enjoyed 64 years of marriage on this earth before Wayne’s passing and now are together once again.
She was a member of the Timberhill Church of God Holiness Church.
Geraldine spent all her years as a homemaker, while also employed at Munsingware, and the following family owned businesses; Taylor’s Locker Plant, Kiddie Ranch Day Care and the Welch Sale Barn Café, while serving many years on the Bluejacket election board.
She loved baking bread and pies and sharing her homemade goods with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, painting, quilting, crocheting and sewing. But above all, Geraldine most enjoyed the many years spent with family at the lake and the holiday gatherings at her home.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Wayne, three sisters Florine Pattison, Alpha Banks, and Fern Beehler, three brothers Alonzo, Minzo and Marvin Beehler, daughter –n- law Aliene Taylor, and great granddaughter Payton Taylor.
She is survived by one sister Ruby Hollandsworth, one daughter Waydene Moore and husband Jess of Centralia, two sons Jerry Taylor of Ketchum and Darrell Taylor and wife Anita of Centralia, seven Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great-Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 18th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home chapel in Vinita.
The celebration of life service will be Thursday, November 19th at 2:00PM at The Timberhill Church of God Holiness of Bluejacket with Brother Ivan Eck officiating. Interment will follow at the Bluejacket cemetery.
