Glenda Mae Vanover Peacock was born May 12, 1944, to James and Ola Vanover at the home near Topsy, OK. She passed away in North Richland Hills, TX on March 5, 2012. She attended Mose Ridge School through the 8th grade and graduated from Jay High School. She also attended business school and college. She attended First Christian Church in Afton, OK, prior to moving to Texas. She is survived by one son Roger Peacock and his wife Dee Dee of Bedford, TX; a daughter Kimberly Rafael of Perkins, OK; two grandsons: Michael and Dylan Rafael of Perkins, OK; two step grandsons: Jay Allport of Corpus Christi, TX and Tony Allport of Bedford, TX; one sister Plezie Johnson of Claremore, OK; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Sylvia Baker and Gladys Balch; and one brother David Vanover. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2PM at the Chapel at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK. The burial will follow at the Mose Ridge Cemetery in Topsy, OK. The arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK.
