George Landrum

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. George Edward Landrum, 63 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on August 11, 2017 at Monroe Manor. George was born on March 31, 1954. He was the son of Leo V. and Mary E. (Jackson) Landrum. At the young age of 15, George was seriously injured severing his spinal cord while doing what he loved, riding bulls. George always said, "If I could, I would get right back on that bull". He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Oklahoma, George was preceded in death by his parents; Leo and Mary Landrum, and his sister Shirley Ann Blackwell. He leaves behind two sisters; Leona Allen and her husband Barry of Jay, Oklahoma, Shawna Seabolt and her husband Steve of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, three brothers; Jack Landrum and his wife Lori of Ohio, John Landrum and his wife Sandy of Bernice, Oklahoma, and Bill Landrum and his wife Doris of Afton, Oklahoma. George cherished each of his thirteen nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Jay-Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
