Frankie Hutchison

Lifetime resident of Jay, Oklahoma, Frankie D. Hutchison, age 77, died on Monday June 6, 2011 at his home. The son of Helen Hutchison, Frankie was born on November 19, 1933 in Eucha, Oklahoma. Frankie served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for over 21 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He worked as a licensed electrician. Frankie was united in marriage to Lillian Scroggins on December 23, 1967 in Jay, Oklahoma. Frankie enjoyed fishing, bowling, traveling and sight seeing, spending time with his family. He coached little league baseball and enjoyed watching Jay Bulldog sports. Frankie was an active member of the Southside Church of Christ. Frankie was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Michele. Frankie is survived by his wife Lillian Hutchison of the home, son Commander Frank Hutchison, Jr. and his wife Amy, daughter Brittany Hutchison, four grandchildren; Abby Hutchison-Sloan, Jarod Sloan, Matt Hutchison, Ryan Hutchison and one great-grandchild Levi Pickett. He is also survived by one sister Shirley Swinford and her husband Jim, and two aunts, Aronda Robertson and Nina King. Frankie was blessed with many other loving relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Southside Church of Christ with Mr. Steve Stenzel and Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Fort Sill Ritual Team. Frankie will be laid to rest at the Duffield Cemetery in Jay, Oklahoma.
