Emma Jane Roberson Graveside funeral services for Emma Jane Roberson will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Nowata, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Home of Nowata. Emma Jane Roberson was born July 9, 1935, in Nowata, to William and Lucille (Cooper) Corn. She passed from this life at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, in Tulsa, May 31, 2006, after reaching 70 years, 9 months, and 22 days. She attended Alluwe, and Nowata Schools. In December, 1951, she married Bill Hagebusch, in Bartlesville. She was a head start teacher and enjoyed working with children. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart and she loved being around them. In November 1981, she married Carl Roberson in Carlsbad, New Mexico. They made their home there until she returned to Nowata in 1999. Mrs. Roberson was a past member of the Alluwe Home Extension Club. She loved flower gardening and especially taking care of her longhorn cattle. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding her in death are her parents William and Lucille Corn; husbands, Bill Hagebusch, and Carl Roberson; an infant brother; and one great grandchild. Surviving Mrs. Roberson are her children, Billy Ray Hagebusch, and his wife Faye, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John Hagebusch, and his wife Sharon, of Nowata, Steve Hagebusch, and his wife Sharon, of Hutchinson, Kansas, Margaret Randall, and her husband John, of Delaware, Oklahoma, Judy Betancourt, and her husband Randy Riley, of Nowata, Tim Roberson and his wife Robin, John Roberson and his wife Kelli, Carla Betancourt and her husband Billy; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ward of Cheyenne, Wyoming, many other relatives, friends and loved ones.
