Ella Lippert

Ella Mae Lippert, age 78 and a Bartlesville resident, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville. Ella Mae Horner was born on January 17, 1938 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of Leo G. Horner, Jr. and Marie Pauline (Johnson) Horner. She was raised and received her early education in the Bartlesville community. She furthered her education by attending Richland Community College in Dallas, Texas where she received her Associates Degree. She continued attending classes as her interest always continued in various fields. On December 26, 1956, Ella Mae and Robert Russell "Bob" Lippert were united in marriage in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Three children were born to this union. Ella Mae and Bob were married for almost 51 years before Bob preceded her in death in 2007. Ella Mae was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was primarily a homemaker but kept very busy with volunteer work with the Concern Center, and she was a docent for Frank Phillips Mansion. She was also very active with the election committee in Dallas, Texas, and many other groups for which she volunteered. She was a member of the Women's Golf League at the Adams Golf Course, 55+ Center, Home Extension Group, Eldercare and a member of First Baptist Church in Bartlesville. Ella Mae and her husband square danced for fun and competitively. She will be missed by all with whom she came into contact. However, most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family. Survivors include; Vickie L. Mieir and husband, Steven D. Mieir; their children Shauna M. Hachey and her husband, Steve, and their sons, Owen and Lucas. Kira M. Klipa and her husband, Peter, and their children, Reese and Ainsley. Aaron M. Mieir and his wife, Nichole, and their child, Ezekiel. Sons, Andrew M. Mieir and Clayton M. Mieir, all of Tampa, Florida. Susan Camp and her fiancé, Earl Parker, and her children, Sean Camp and wife, Amanda, Kinzie Camp, all of Bartlesville. Robert R. "Rusty" Lippert and his wife, Daggy, his son, Robert R. "Rik" Lippert of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and their children, Ryan, Carena and Raidon of Copperas Cove, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo George Horner, Jr. and Marie Pauline Horner; her husband, Robert Russell Lippert; and her brothers, James Daniel Horner, Leo Phillip "Tad" Horner, and Jackie Howard Horner.
