Dwight Sayles

Dwight Leroy Sayles was born June 2, 1953 in Bartlesville, OK to Harvey Sayles, Sr. and Rosanna (Martin) Sayles and grew up in the Bartlesville area. On January 25, 1971, he married Marilyn Patricia Hardeman in Bartlesville. Dwight was a long-time employee of TRW's Reda Pump Company where he worked as a welder. In 1985, it became necessary for Dwight to take an early medical retirement. Since that time, he had continued to make his home in the Bartlesville community. Dwight was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Sayles in March of 2010. He was also preceded in death by: his parents and five brothers: Rosevelt Sayles, Leonard Sayles, Curtis Sayles, Harvey Sayles, Jr. and Lorenzo Sayles. He is survived by: his sons: Steven Sayles of Norman, OK and Tim Sayles of Bartlesville, OK; two sisters: Sadie Russell of Dewey, OK and Joan Marie Berry of Vinita, OK; one brother, Buel Cletis Sayles of Bartlesville; five grandchildren: Briana Sayles, Timothy Sayles, Jr., Caleb Sayles, Aliyah Sayles and Daylon Sayles; special friend, Charlisa White of Bartlesville and a host of other relatives and friends.
