Dorothy Knowles

Dorothy Jane Madge Knowles was born on January 10, 1919 in Pleasantville, Missouri to Leo W. Fox and Emma Elizabeth (Frude) Fox. She went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2012 in Grove, Oklahoma. Dorothy always loved to make sure everyone had what they needed, one way or another. She cleaned houses, ironed and sewed a living. Most of all she served the Lord. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas H. Knowles and one daughter Dorothy M. McCallion, one grandson, and a brother Roy E. Fox. She is survived by one daughter; Alice F. Vincent of Grove, Oklahoma and one son; Roy A. Knowles and his wife of Grove, Oklahoma. Dorothy was blessed with eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren (and counting) and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012 at the First Assembly of God in Jay, Oklahoma with Reverend Robert Lackey officiating.
