Doris Correll

Doris Lois Correll, 87, of Corinth, TX, passed away Monday morning, July 9, at Denton Rehab and Nursing Center, Denton, TX. She was born May 15, 1920 in Bartlesville, OK, Doris was a daughter of the late Owen and Anna Elgert Lee. She attended Bartlesville area schools. On March 3, 1940, she married Clifford Franklin Correll in Dewey. They were married for 53 years before Clifford preceded her in death on July 18, 1993. Mrs. Correll was employed by the Mannford Oklahoma School System for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mannford for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Doris is survived by her son, Frank Correll, and his wife, Ursula of Corinth, TX; six grandchildren, Heather Muldoon and husband, Shawn, Houston; Christopher Correll, Corinth; Morgan Correll, Charleston, SC; Alexandra Correll, Syracuse, NY; Lauren Correll and Nicole Correll; Corinth; one sister, Ona Young of Albuquerque, NM along with many nieces, nephews and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers Carl Lee, Herman Lee, Robert Lee, Roy Lee, Jack Lee, Richard Lee; and sisters, Edna Lee, Betty Jean Lee, Zelma Foster, Nellie Hedgpeth, Bertha Riter, and twin sister, Dora Coltharp. Graveside funeral services for Ms. Correll will be held Saturday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome for viewing and visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 4-9 p.m. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
