Donald Baldridge

Donald Baldridge 77 year old long time Vinita resident, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Fairland Family Care Center. He was born on October 19, 1935 in Strang, Oklahoma to Solomon and Rosa "Parks" Baldridge. Donald was employed for 20 plus years at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the United Missionary Baptist Church in Vinita. Donald was a Third Degree Mason and assisted at the Nutrition Center in his retirement years. He enjoyed drawing, fishing, hunting and reading the Bible, he could quote any verse. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Hazel Vestle, Charles Baldridge, Marie Rowe, and Gervina Baldridge. He is survived by a brother, J. D. Baldridge and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday October 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita, with Pastor Farris Downing officiating.
