Dollie Gregory

Dollie Gregory passed away on October 26, 2011 at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, OK at the age of 88. She was born December 23, 1922 in Ripley County, MO to Radford E and Medie Jane (Campbell) Stanley. Dollie received her education in Centralia, OK. On February 12, 1942 she married Everett James Gregory in Vinita, OK. She made her home in Leisure Shores addition of Afton, OK until she became a resident of Grove Nursing Center in Grove, OK. She was a homemaker and a cook in Coffeyville, KS until she retired. She resided in Liberty, KS for many years after retirement, before moving to Eureka Springs, AR. She then moved to Afton, OK where she resided for the last three and a half years of her life. Survivors include two sons, Everett J Gregory, Afton, OK; Roy L Gregory (Pat), Afton, OK, two daughters, Wanda Erwin, Eureka Springs, AR and Shirley Leahew, Havana, KS; six grandchildren: Rhonda Bolejack (Allen), Liberty, KS, Tim Ross (Kristy), Chelsea, OK, Scott Gregory, Afton, OK, Linda Arnold, Mound Valley, KS, Jason Gregory, Joplin, MO, Travis Gregory (Amber), Independence, KS , and Chad Leahew (Shannon), Dewey, OK, eleven great grandchildren, and a sister, Geneva Coats (Marvin), Grove, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, Claude, Robert, Earl, and Marvin Stanley, two sisters Nova Green and Esther Hardesty and grandson Jeff Ross. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel, Vinita, OK. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 at the Liberty, KS cemetery with Pastor Bill Booe officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
