Diana Sue Poyner, 67, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at her home in Nowata. She was born October 9, 1946 in Tulsa to Wilson and Pauline (Thornburgh) Davis. Diana grew up in Tulsa and received her education there. She married John T. Foster in 1964 and the couple lived in Coffeyville, Kansas. They later divorced and Diana moved back to Tulsa. She then married Clarence Dean Poyner in 1983 at Jay, Oklahoma. After, she and Clarence divorced, Diana moved to Beggs, Oklahoma and on to Coffeyville, Kansas in 1999. In the summer of 2007, Diana moved to Nowata to stay. She was caring person, who moved to where she felt that she was most needed by her family. Diana enjoyed fishing and camping and was especially fond of Crossword, Word Search and Fill-in Word Puzzles. Diana is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Darlene Collins; two brothers, Bill Daughtery and Bob Davis Sr. She is survived by two children, Lisa and her husband Brian Buss and Rebecca and her husband Raymond Gatlin of Mannford, OK; a sister, Evelyn and her husband Roberto Ybarra of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Uriah Perkins of Tulsa, Andreana Perkins of Tulsa, Alyssa Buss of Nowata, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
