Debra Luanne Adams, 69, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 6, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on April 1, 1955, in Jay, Oklahoma, where she began a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those around her.
Debra, affectionately known for her stubborn spirit and a heart of gold, was the owner and operator of a restaurant in Jay, where her immense passion for cooking was evident. She found joy in entertaining others and took pride in providing a welcoming space for all who entered. Debra had a great sense of humor that made every gathering a cherished memory. Debra was not one to shy away from responsibility, embracing every challenge with courage and grace. She lived life to the fullest, she enjoyed traveling and going to the casinos.
Family was the cornerstone of Debra's existence; she found immense joy in her role as a loving wife to her husband Jim Wysocki, and mother to Amanda Howard, Mikah Wysocki, and Jennifer Kozier, and as a grandmother to her seven beloved grandchildren: Jacia Howard, Jasper Johnson, Jagger Johnson, Levi Kozier, Luke Kozier, Emma Kozier, and Kassidy Kozier. They were the light of her life, the source of her joy. Her grandchildren, along with her nieces and nephews, filled her days with purpose and love.
In addition to her immediate family, Debra leaves behind three devoted brothers: Rick Phillips, Roy Don Phillips, and Billy Phillips. Debra is preceded in death by her father, Roy Phillips, and her mother, Shirley "Jones" Phillips.
As we remember Debra, we celebrate a woman whose fierce love and dedication to her family shone brightly in everything she did. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, who will continue to honor her memory through compassion, laughter, and togetherness.
