David Bowling

David Eugene. Bowling, age 36, a resident of Vinita, OK went to be with Jesus after a two year battle with a malignant melanoma on Tuesday morning August 5, 2008 at his home in Vinita. He was born August 16, 1971 in Knoxville, Tennessee the son of Bertha Jean Bowling. David was reared and educated in Knoxville and moved to Vinita in 2005 where he was united in marriage with Sandy Oakley on April 23, 2005 in Craig County, Oklahoma and made their home in Vinita. David loved horses, dogs and cars and motorcycles, and NASCAR. He was auto detailer, and worked on CB radios and was a fun loving man and will be truly missed by all that knew him. David leaves behind his wife, Sandy of the home, his mother Bertha Bowling of Knoxville, TN, one sister Linda Gail Dyer of Oakridge, TN, several aunts and uncles, three nephews and one niece. Graveside services will be Friday August 8, 2008 in the Bluejacket Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. with Brother Carroll Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and the family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita.
