Dave Neal "Cowboy" Malotte, 77 year-old Vinita resident died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Rosewood Terrace. He was born December 28, 1928 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Dave M. and Martha Louise (Barker) Malotte. Dave served in the U. S. Army and was a retired tire builder from B. F. Goodrich where he was employed for 33 years. He was married to Della (Parnell) who preceded him in death in 2005. Dave was a member of the American Legion and the Rodeo Cowboys Association. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. The family includes: his children, Teresa Bass and husband Sam, Connie Walls and husband Darrel, Sheila Anderson and husband Randy, all of Vinita, Kato Malotte and wife Cindy of Sperry; grandchildren, Dink Bass, Kim Tippett, Justin Hale, Kevin Hale, Sommer Faulconer, Ashley Anderson, Tucker Malotte, Chance Malotte, and Gus Malotte, and Ten Great-grandchildren. Casket bearers will be: Dink Bass, Justin Hale, Kevin Hale, Jeff Faulconer, Brian Tippett, Blake Arrington. Honorary bearers will be Tucker, Chance and Gus Malotte. The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita, with Brother Justin Turner officiating.
