Charles Odle

Charles Lee Odle, 74 year old, Spavinaw, Oklahoma resident, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his home, with his family by his side. Charles was born on May 8, 1939 in Pryor, Oklahoma to John and Mary (Williams) Odle. he attended high school in Los Angeles, California and college at UCLA and Oregon State University. Charles married Coleen Jordan in 1962, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Charles worked as a carpenter most of his life, working both for himself and for several different companies over the years. He even built their current home in Spavinaw. Being a carpenter, Charles enjoyed woodworking and cabinet making and working around the house. He loved the outdoors and fishing for bass, but especially crappie. Charles is survived by his wife, Coleen, of the home, a son, Steve Odle and wife Janee, of Jay, Oklahoma, a daughter, Kathy McCullum and husband Mike, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma. Charles is also survived by three grandchildren, Jonathan Lee Odle and wife Kaolee, Justin Michael McCullum, and Sidney Blackfox, and a great grandchild Payton Lee Odle. Private family services for Charles will be held at a later date.
