Charles Carroll

Charles James Carroll, age 76 passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 in Victorville, California. Charles was born June 9, 1933 in Louisburg, Missouri to Jesse and Lorene Carroll (Rowden). He spent his early years in Oklahoma and then moved to Washington where he meets his wife. They moved to California where he worked for Armco Steel for 30 years, after retiring they moved to Jay, Oklahoma. Charles is survived by his sons, John Charles Carroll of Victorville, California, James Steven Carroll (Jill) of Bakersville, California, daughter, Lora Mullins (Mike) of Victorville, California, brother, Donald Carroll of Jay, Oklahoma, sisters, Evelyn Lovelace of Knoxville, Tennessee, Lucretia Barton of Paradise, California, grandchildren, Jeffery, Candace, Joshua, Jess, Chelsea,, great granddaughters, Abigail Rose, Sadie and Kaylee. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Carroll (Payne), 6 brothers and 1 sister. Graveside service will be Friday, August 28, 2009, 11 a.m. at Duffield Cemetery, Jay, Oklahoma with Pastor James A. Bell officiating.
