Cecil Jinks

Cecil Edward Jinks, age 86 of Locust Grove, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013. Cecil was born in Culver, MN on November 18, 1926 to Robert and Elsie (Anderson) Jinks. Cecil worked as a truck driver for numerous years. His hobbies included fishing, camping, and spending time with family. He was a member of the Spavinaw American Legion. Survivors include his children: Sandy Smith and husband Mike of Missouri Valley, IA, Linda Keiser of FL, Shawn Loomis and husband Brian of Missouri Valley, IA, Douglas Jinks and wife Rae of Locust Grove, John Jinks and wife Maria of Locust Grove, Robert Jinks of Spavinaw, Steven Jinks of Yale, OK, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda Jinks, daughter Tammy Jinks, son Tommy Jinks, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastors Clarence Gregory and Tobe Sperry officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
