Carolyn Bailey

Carolyn Lee Bailey, age 47, a longtime resident of Vinita died Friday January 23, 2009 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was born April 23, 1961 in Beeville, Texas the daughter of Aaron and Bessie (Arnold) McGuire. In1968 the family moved from Beeville to Vinita where Carolyn finished her education graduating Vinita High School in 1978. She and Daryl Bailey were united in marriage near Vinita on August 27, 2005. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, plants and flowers, loved hummingbirds, family gatherings, cooking and music. Survivors include her husband Daryl of he home, daughters and sons in law, Felicia and Hayes Culbertson of Claremore, OK, Heather and Kelvin Allen of Vinita, Michelle Bailey of Chelsea, OK and son Bo Bailey of Vinita, her mother, Bessie McGuire and Harold Shouse of Vinita, a brother Aaron D. and his wife Barbara McGuire of Florida, a sister Beckie Armstrong of Vinita, mother in law, Berthalene Bailey of Vinita and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be Monday January 26, 2009 at the First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Justin Turner officiating with cremation to follow. Visitation will be Sunday from 9;00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
