Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, (918)256-5555 Carell Youel Parker, 88 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Craig General Hospital. He was born on March 24, 1927 in Rogers County, Oklahoma to Thomas and Emma (Eller) Parker. Carell was a Veteran of World War II, serving his country from 1942 to 1946 as a Sargent in the U.S. Army. He married Mary Lou Colvin on April 5, 1945 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Carell owned and operated the Texaco Station in Vinita for 40 plus years, he was known as a good mechanic by many. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Carell was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, three children, Carell Wayne Parker in 2004, Michael Dean Parker in 2005, and most recently his daughter, Cindy Davis on November 2, 2015. The family includes; his wife Mary Lou Parker of the home; grandchildren, Brandon Buck Davis, Crissy Lee Stanley, Tara Lynn Davis, Kayla Lynn Parker, Keli Carter, Patricia Parker and 13 great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
