WORLEY-LUGINBUEL GROVE, OK 918-786-2261------- Billie Dean Stout, 68, of Delaware County, Oklahoma, died January 23, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Bill was born on July 3, 1945, in Welch, Oklahoma, to Wilda and Clyde Stout. Bill graduated from Welch High School in 1963. While in high school, he played baseball. Bill was saved in the Welch Assembly of God church at a young age. He joined the Marine Corp just after high school and served his country during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1966. He served in several different areas of law enforcement including Deputy Sheriff, Undersheriff, Drug Enforcement Task Force, Patrol, and Investigations for 22 years until his retirement. He then started a security business which he was still operating until the time of his death. Bill's favorite hobby was fishing. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Kevin Harvick. He also enjoyed watching old Western's. He spent much of his time fishing and was a member of the Oklahoma Bass Federation and the Grand Lake Bassmasters. When he wasn't fishing tournaments, he was fishing with his children. His son, Jeff, has fished many tournaments with his dad, and tells lots of stories of their fishing adventures. His daughter, Nicole, says she remembers as a little girl going fishing every Saturday with her daddy. Bill was predeceased by his mother, Wilda Stout, his father, Clyde Stout, his wife, Terri Stout, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill is survived by his brother, Jack Stout and wife Karen; his niece, Katie Stout; his 3 children, Jeffery Dean Stout and wife Eileen; Jennifer Allen and husband, Matt; and, Nicole Lynn Stout and her fiancé Anthony Wishard; grandchildren, Kelsie Kelley and husband Ethan; Brittany Stout and fiancé Payton Huskey; and, Jaden Stout; and one great grandson on his way. He is also survived by countless other loving relatives and a host of friends who were blessed to know him. Cremation Arrangements are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
