Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. 918-786-2261. Billie Jean McDonald, 83, resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on May 8, 2017 in Naples, Florida. Billie was born on March 9, 1934 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of James and Emma (Cox) Rogers. Billie enjoyed playing basketball during school, she graduated from Salina High School in 1952. She married the love of her life William Riley McDonald, III on November 3, 1978. Billie worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a technician. She loved playing fast pitch softball in her younger days, she also loved cooking, camping, traveling and dancing. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Jim Rogers, five sisters; Lenora Miller, Margie Everson, Wilda Cheatham, Maxine Kirby and Roberta Rogers, and one son-in law, Tom Jones. She leaves behind her husband, Bill of the home, three daughters; Brenda Jones of Caney, Kansas, Teresa Mantooth and husband Bernard of Dewey, Oklahoma and Sherry Wealthall of Lawrence, Kansas, three step children William R. McDonald IV, of California, Cheryl Lynn McDonald of Littleton, Colorado and Angela Rochell McDonald of Las Vegas, Nevada. She will be dearly missed by her two brothers Buck Rogers of Salina, Oklahoma and John Rogers of Big Cabin, Oklahoma and one sister Jane Fleming of Bartlesville. Billie was blessed with seven grandchildren, and five step grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2017. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017 both at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma.
