Betty Tuggle

Betty Davis Williams Moore Tuggle 79 year-old Vinita resident, died Saturday evening November 22, 2008 at her son's home in Vinita. Betty was born on July 10, 1929 in Anderson, Missouri to Leroy and Aretta (Freeman) Davis. She graduated from Anderson High School as Valedictorian or her class. Betty formerly worked at First National Bank in Vinita and retired from the Grand River Dam Authority in Vinita. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Vinita. The family includes; her children, Mark Williams and wife Amy of Vinita, Tim Williams and wife Robin of Vinita, Meredyth Moore Phillips of Grand Lake, Jim Tuggle and wife Nancy of Denver, CO, Scott Tuggle and wife Andrea of Dallas, TX, Judy Greer and husband Don of Woodlands, TX; her brother, Bill Davis of Neosho, MO, sisters, Jeannie Mustain of Afton, and Addalinda "Linda" Davis-Safavi of Siloam Springs, AR; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husbands, H. B. "Ronnie" Moore and Dick Tuggle, her parents, a special step-father Eldon Catlin. The funeral will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Cowboy Junction with Pastor Wade Markham officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
