Funeral services for Barbara Christine Sutton are 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2012 at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Ben Killion officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata. A family visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benjamin Funeral Service. Barbara Christine Sutton, 68, of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Barbara was born on July 4, 1943 in Sacramento, California to Forrest and Ruth (Cornett) King. She moved to Nowata as an infant and graduated from Alluwe High School in 1962. She loved being a wife and mother. Her family was the most important achievement in her life. She loved caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. Barbara also enjoyed caring for other people. Delivering meals for the Methodist Church and working for Elder Care was a very important part of her life. She loved people and will be missed by all who knew her. Barbara is survived by three children, Anthony Sutton and wife Brenda of Sharon, Oklahoma, Jenalea Parrett and husband Jeff of Nowata, Nancy Delmas and friend Brad Tatum of Nowata; three sisters, Zelma Evans of Sarasota, Florida, Marjorie Alspach of Delaware, and Katherine Vaughan of Nowata; eleven grandchildren, Jason Sutton, Amy Noorigian, Chance Parrett, Alisha Parrett, Zach Parrett, Andy Sutton, Adrienne Sutton, Alex Sutton, Grant Delmas, Marrisa Shaw, Jenny West, and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Ruth King, her husband, Marvis Earl Sutton and an infant sister, Rosemary King.
