Barbara J. Jackson, age 54, a resident of Bartlesville died Sunday October 1, 2006 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa. She was born July 12, 1952 in Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of Virgil Willard and Hazel June Blevins Willard. She was raised and received her formal education in the area of Independence, KA. She and Bobby Jackson were married November 10, 1970 in Bartlesville and they made their home in Tulsa where they lived for thirty three years. They moved back to Bartlesville and have lived here for the past year and a half. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Revival Time Outreach Center. She enjoyed camping, fishing, flower gardening, and family reunions and holidays. Barbara is survived by her husband of thirty five years, Bobby Jackson of the home, two daughters, Shawna Jackson of Tulsa, OK, Dana and husband Ron Ponder of Tulsa, OK, three grandsons, Keifer, Jacob and Nicholas Ponder all of Tulsa, 1 sister, Leona House of Fredonia, Ks. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Joseph Scott Jackson. Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society. Those who wish to make a donation in Barbara's name may do so in care of the American Cancer Society c/o Kathy Leeper P.O. Box 1094 Bartlesville, OK 74005. Funeral services will be Friday October 6, 2006 at the Revival Time Outreach Center in Bartlesville at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rodger Sheppard officiating with interment to follow in White Rose Cemetery under the direction of Neekamp - Luginbuel Funeral Home.
